Sephi Hakubi is a multi-talented performer and producer that focuses on bringing alternative and world cultures into the American mainstream and revolutionizing the next generation of entertainment. While growing up in Coral Springs, FL, Sephi started a neighborhood anime club called Neo-Sushi Alliance, which would later evolve into Sushicrowd, a distinctive J-ENT independent label in Honolulu, HI and in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Sephi has gotten involve in organizing anime events with his Sushicrowd friends while developing his performance talents, particularly musical engineering and DJing. After graduating from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2004, Sephi entered the military which played a significant role in his destiny in being “The Wonder Shonen”. As he ended up in the island of Oahu, Hawaii in the spring of 2005, a year later he stumbled upon his first anime convention: Kawaii Kon 2006 hosted by Gamers Evolution Expo. Sephi has also attended his first video game LAN convention, Adept Gamer Conference 2006 where he was invited as their guest DJ. After Sephi’s formation of Sushicrowd in Hawaii, he collaborated with other anime communities such as Ground One Productions (where he performed his first voice acting gig), and 808 Cosplay (where he developed his cosplaying and modeling talents). He continues to attend Kawaii Kon throughout the subsequent years, but it was Izumicon 2007 that broke Sephi Hakubi through the fandom phenomenom when he began his convention v-log S-ENT while cosplaying his first character cosplay: Reno from Final Fantasy VII. Sephi would then attend other anime and cosplay shows such as ARTafterDARK manga (where he won his first Best-in-Show award), and Mizucon (a Miami convention in the Gamers Evolution Expo family). In 2008, fate would have Sephi move to Ft. Walton Beach, FL but he has established a new Sushicrowd there with his fiancee Rin and attend the Anime South anime convention. Another twist of fate would have Sephi and Rin relocate to San Antonio, TX where he will finish his military obligation and work the anime scene in that region. Currently, Sephi and Rin continue to develop Sushicrowd while developing anime media for the fans.

In addition to Sephi’s talents as a multimedia producer, he is also a Network Engineering Journeyman and currently holds an A+, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, and Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician certifications.
